Presbyterian Campus Ministry is an open-minded, open-hearted campus ministry for Northern Illinois University and Kishwaukee College students. We realize that life on, or around, a college campus is one with a lot of choices; academic, social and spiritual. Our hope at Presbyterian Campus Ministry is to provide a place for college students to grow in their faith along with others who are in similar situations and asking similar questions— What are the gifts that God has given me? How can I use them? How do I know what I am called to do in life? We welcome these questions and seek to answer them while we form a deeper relationship with God. We welcome you to join us as together we work to answer these questions and make a spiritual home where we can care for and enjoy one another and the community around us.

The Table is a refresh of an existing college ministry. In previous years we were a part of an ecumenical ministry called United Campus Ministry(UCM) of NDSU. UCM ended in 2012-2013 and we are in the process of redefining what our ministry is. First Presbyterian Fargo the parent church is located in downtown Fargo across the street from the NDSU downtown campus and close to Concordia College in Moorhead and Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM). Food and hospitality have been core pieces of this ministry and branding it as The Table embraces this identity. The focus has primarily been NDSU students but we are excited to be serving Concordia and MSUM. Some of the programs planned for this ministry include: Common-Table a learning experience event taking place at least quarterly that will wrap up each time with a shared meal and faith discussion around the table. Service options- local and outstate that will give college students an opportunity to serve others as an expression of their faith. A pop culture based faith discussion, using movies, music and social media to explore how our faith is related to culture. A meal following Sunday worship hosted by the members of FPC Fargo as a future gateway to a mentorship program and connection to our parent church.

College Dinner Night
200 East Boutz Road
Las Cruces, NM 88005
First Presbyterian Church College Dinner Night began in the Fall of 2013. I am a recently retired music professor from New Mexico State University, and feel that one of my callings in the church is to encourage college students to remain connected to their faith. My husband and I prepare dinner for the students once a month in our home, with the intention of providing a "home away from home" and close personal connections to other students on a campus that is heavy with commuter students who also work. We spent this first year building relationships, experienced one community outreach activity, and plan on expanding into Bible study and a larger community outreach project this second year. We are a vibrant, diverse group, with Native American, Asian, Hispanic and Anglo cultures represented.

Shepherdstown, WV 25443
Connections is a Shepherd University student fellowship group which has claimed the mission of seeking to build community and practice peace. We understand community as a practice, and gather regularly to explore together various ways of listening—to our own lives and experiences, to one other, and to the Spirit that draws us together. We seek to provide open and non-judgmental space for individual expression, and an oasis of rest from the often over-full experience of college life. We also seek the Spirit through imagination and creativity. Connections sponsors occasional open mic nights, as well as festival evenings during which the entire community is welcomed to gather with us and “to pray, to celebrate, lament and mend” through story and song. We welcome all seekers, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or faith perspective. Grounded in the Reformed tradition of Christian faith, we welcome the deep wisdom of all faith traditions.
